Genie
Well known as Genie, Peace Joseph Mkandawire was born on 6 June 2001. He is s an artist, songwriter and graphic designer. He has his own label known as Planet Arts.
Planet Arts was founded in 2018 by Genie himself. The same 2018 he released his first debut Extended playlist titled “Success”. He later in 2020 released a joint Extended playlist with his colleague “Vinho”.
He attended his primary school educational at St Columba and then secondary level at Chisapi Secondary School and Maranatha High School. He is currently doing his Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology at the Catholic University of Malawi
In 2020, he started working with Baobab Muzik as a graphic designer.
